The pressure to conform is very prominent among adolescents especially, but it is not limited to only teenagers. There are so many different reasons people are exposed to peer pressure, and it is fairly common in most school environments. Peer pressure has negative effects on the lives involved because it could cause a person to engage in dangerous activities, can cause decreased academic performance, and leads people to have negative opinions on themselves and things they enjoy. Peer pressure could cause a person to engage in dangerous activities. The pressure to fit in and be liked can be as simple as a friend telling another friend to try this alcohol. Some people are able remove themselves from the situation if they do not want to engage in the drinking, while other people feel like they have to say yes in order to be liked. Another example of this pressure is seeing a close friend engage in something dangerous and feeling an internal pressure that would cause one to want to engage in that same activity. A person could have 30 friends that do not talk very often versus a person having three or four really important friends that talk quite often and help each other. Making and having friends is an important part of being in school, but it should not shift the focus away from the academics. New research is indicating that peer pressure has some form of a positive side to it. As far as the research goes, I agree that there can be some form of positivity that could come from peer pressure. For example, a friend could help motivate another friend to improve their grades or do something positive. The research was done by a Psychologist named Laurence Steinberg. He had participants playing a computerized card game in room by themselves and separately with people their age in the room. He basically found that teenagers learn faster and efficiently when they are in the company of their peers or people their own age. (Paul). Personally, I believe that there is a larger amount of negative aspects in terms of peer pressure. The research is interesting and there is something to be learned from it, but the constant pressure and need for individuals to conform is at large. So many kids feel like they have to conform in order to fit in with the popular crowd. I think we need to do a better job in explaining that one does not have to conform and do things that one would not normally do to fit in with a certain group of people. In the present study development of a polymer-based matrix tablet was undertaken to produce a sustained-release dosage form of Acebrophylline, since this dosage forms is relatively simple and cheap to produce when compared to other. Different batches of drug Acebrophylline tablets were manufactured by wet granulation technique, and evaluated for Pharmacopoeial and non-Pharmacopoeial specifications. Dissolution testing was undertaken using USP Apparatus 2 (Paddle Type), which allowed for a more realistic assessment and prediction of in vitro drug release rates. Samples were analysed using a high performance liquid chromatographic method (HPLC). Formulation F5 shows optimum drug release. Drug and rate retarding polymers ratio used in this formulation were Methocel K100 LV (14.86% w/w) and Methocel K4M (10.14%w/w), in ratio (5.4:1.34:1). The results of in vitro drug release studies were treated with zero order, first order kinetics, Higuchi, Hixon-Crowell and Korsemeyer†Peppas mod el. The verses are medium paced, while they chorus is slow. This is their best song, in terms of lyrics, off of this album. People may not like it that much. It is not your average song. I love this song too. This is an overall great CD. This would be recommended for people who like alternative rock music. People that like to be in touch with their feelings while listening to great instrument playing and awesome singing. If you like awesome lyrics and good music, this is album is recommended to you.
